Beach comb, or just relax and watch the sunrise over the northern Gulf Islands. The 3 bedroom bungalow is ideal for kids of all ages, with a myriad of activities such as guided fishing trips, whale watching, golfing, shopping, theatres and restaurants only a 10 minute drive away. Visit in September to witness the annual salmon run when you can even snorkel with the salmon in Campbell River. Sliding doors lead out onto a veranda that is level with the grassy, flat front yard that gradually descends onto the rocky beach. At low tide, the boulder beach is home to marine creatures which amuse beach-combers just steps from your front door. Relax in the outdoor hot tub while cruise ships, tug boats, barges and yachts make their way along the Discovery Passage. This shoreline is tucked inside a small peninsula, so wading and supervised swimming is possible close to shore, and the long beach is perfect for morning walks along the ocean. This unique 1250 square foot round home has an intimate cottage feeling but is loaded with modern amenities. The centerpiece is a large floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Two bedrooms, a den with a futon, and the 3 piece bathroom with a 2-person soaker tub are tucked privately behind. The living space and kitchen overlook the front patio and ocean. The open concept kitchen is newly renovated with gas stove and stainless steel appliances. Wireless internet is available.
