This 650 square foot, 2 bedroom house is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic get-away or friends travelling together wanting separate bedrooms. The open-concept living and dining area has a cathedral ceiling and looks out onto the deck and ocean through windows and glass patio doors. Older kids are welcome.
The well-equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing meals while socializing with companions in the living area. The house has light, airy, and luxurious living quarters for a relaxing holiday.
The 3-sided deck offers a choice of scenery: a small waterfall and pond built on the one side of the house, the private hot tub on the opposite side, and the front deck which overlooks Gowlland Harbour and the distant mountains on Vancouver Island.
The dock is ideal for storing a private boat, a boat rental from the resort at the other end of the inlet, or for an early morning pickup from a chartered fishing guide. Kayaking, canoeing and swimming are all possible since the harbour is protected from currents by Gowlland Island.
The approach to the beach house leads you through the estate, which is filled with gardens, past the main house and down a steep, paved driveway to the ocean. Winding walkways and the constant background melody of waterfalls provides privacy from occasional use of the boat house by the owners.
