Situated on 30 acres at the south end of Quadra Island, Four Winds is open to nature's elements from every direction. The property features a private, steep walking road down the bluff to the secluded rocky beach below. A huge eagle's nest is located in a tree perched on the edge of the cliff, and the squawking from these feathered neighbours can be heard from the holiday home. The upper sun deck stretches along the entire length of the 2-storey vacation home, offering views of the mountain range on Vancouver Island and the shipping channel from Franciso Point all the way to Comox. Inside the sliding glass doors from the deck is the living and dining area with a fireplace and piano in the living room. The kitchen is open concept and has an oven with 2 elements, dishwasher, and BBQ just outside on the deck. The house is heated and cooled by a central air system. Two of the three bedrooms are located along the upstairs hallway. The master bedroom with a queen bed has a private bathroom and shower and windows looking onto the upper deck. A laundry room with washer and dryer is located near the back door. Escape the summer heat downstairs in the games room that hosts a pool table, games, television, DVD and VCR. Another spacious bedroom with a king bed is located on this floor. A toddler bed, high chair and crib-sized playpen are available for young visitors. Depending on the time of your visit, you are welcome to the apples, plums and pears in season from the orchard.
