The rustic cedar exterior ties the cottage to the natural environment surrounding it, while the covered deck and picnic tables add to the outdoor living.  A hiking trail begins right at your driveway and leads through the majestic forest along the beach.  This cottage is located on the south end of Quadra Island, up on the bluffs.  Another winding trail leads down the rugged cliff through natural forest to the driftwood strewn, pebbled beach. This is a lovely place to swim in the summer, or storm watch in the winter. The magnificent tide pools invite you to explore the marine life, or greet the visiting seals and calling loons. Or, bring your kayak to enjoy the coastline of southern Quadra Island. Inside, the 1000 sq. ft. cottage has all the conveniences of home. The wooden cabinets of the full-size kitchen add rustic charm, and the built-in cook top, dishwasher, and microwave add convenience to your holiday home. The main floor also includes the dining area, living room, bedroom, and full bath with a soaker tub. As well as having electric heating there is a new woodstove to keep you cozy on cool days, and creates sufficient heat during winter weather.
