Near-by, a bistro size table and chairs provide space to dine and absorb the ever changing scenery outside the wall-to-wall windows. The living area includes a comfortable sofa bed and TV cabinet. You can still enjoy the view from the sleeping area in the large comfy queen-size bed , and your feet will stay warm and cozy from the in-floor heating in the lovely bathroom. This newly built suite has a separate entrance from the main residence and is very private. This studio is wheelchair accessible for those with mobility challenges. There's lots to see from your private terrace: the south-western exposure provides sunlight and an ever changing view. In the summer, dolphins and orcas can frequently be seen, and an eagle family nesting on a nearby island provides neighborhood entertainment. Private yachts and majestic cruise ships glide close by. Year-round, you'll enjoy the view of the mountains of Vancouver Island, lovely sunsets, and the night lights of Campbell River. As this is the main marine channel for the west coast, freighters, fish boats, ferries and other working vessels regularly travel the waters. If salmon fishing is of interest, we can organize a charter with the owner who has a long family history of fishing guiding.
