Sea Kayaking from Quadra Island
Meander along the shoreline on the east side of Quadra Island, travelling from bay to bay, scattered with uninhabited islands. Take time to explore and relax in the most scenic area of Quadra Island's coastline. On your own or with a group take a day trip to the Breton Island Archipelago. Sea Life while Sea Kayaking
Combine wildlife viewing with your sea kayaking. Look up for eagles soaring overhead; look around for curious seals who are probably watching you! Watch the seals laze on rocks or folic in the water. On nearby shorelines, you may see otters, deer and raccoons and a wide variety of sea birds. Porpoises, dolphins, and the occasional orca or humpback whale also come through these waters.
At low tide, a whole other world is visible through our clear waters. See star fish, sea urchin, sea cucumbers and other underwater critters as you silently glide by. Their shapes and colors are magnificent!

What to Bring
Water, sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen, camera, footwear that can get wet (water sandals, beach shoes, rubber boots) warm and extra clothes.
