Annual Studio Tour Opening We are proud to be home to over 40 talented and renowned artists on Quadra Island.  The Annual Quadra Island Studio Tour Opening is always the first weekend in June.  Artists open their studios to visitors to present their distinctive, original art work.  Visit painters, jewellers, carvers, potters, scupltors, weavers, fabric artists and furniture makers.  See a glass blower at work, watch the magic of clay on the potters' wheel.  Experience a moment of First Nations cultural heritage and tradition explored through wood, silver and dance. You will get to meet the artists and visit with them about their perspectives, techniques and experiences.  Many artists will be doing special demonstrations through the weekend.

Year Round Self-Guided Tour of Artists' Studios Throughout the year, the Self-Guided Tour Map will allow you to access the artisits individually.  Look for this free map at various stores and the Visitors Information Centre.  Use the map as a guide to visit the artists of your choice and at your leisure.  While more than 20 artists keep their studios open year 'round, most visits are by appointment outside of July and August. Art Workshops on Quadra Island Various artists offer an interesting variety of workshops on Quadra Island, including glassblowing, painting and sculpting.
